About the role:
Join Box Hill Institute in an exciting opportunity as our Course Coordinator – Business, Information Technology and Management where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of education. Reporting to the Department Manager - Management, Information Management and Music, this position is part of the Faulty of Creative, Business and Technology.
As the Course Coordinator, you will lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative, customised, high‑quality vocational education and training for Box Hill Institute students and clients. You will drive continuous improvement in online course delivery, including leading an uplift in online learning resources across programs such as IT, Cybersecurity, Library and Accounting to enhance digital learning quality and engagement.
In this role, you will provide people management and leadership to enhance team performance and engagement, while also offering strong educational leadership to improve teaching quality, standards, and delivery. You will ensure full compliance across all educational programs and work to improve student education and employment outcomes, driving overall satisfaction.

About you:

You are an experienced VET professional with relevant industry qualifications and a strong understanding of vocational education delivery, compliance and teaching practice. You bring proven experience leading and supporting teaching teams, with the ability to coach, mentor and build capability to achieve excellent student outcomes.
You are highly organised, proactive and confident managing program operations, including curriculum, assessment, validation, audits and regulatory requirements. You build strong relationships with students, staff, industry and stakeholders, communicating effectively and navigating challenges with professionalism.
To be considered for this position, you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
